Current project work includes using VB6/Interdev to create components that seperate my .asp from the database by using business objects and Infrastructure objects to access the data taken from the database. This is as outlined in my current book which is E-Commerce with asp/SQL Server 7 and MTS by Mathew Reynolds of Wrox Press. The zipped source code is here.

I am more interested in precompiled components now than asp script for security and design efficiency reasons.

I have written a Bulk email tracking application using .asp and Access/SQL Server (I am MOUS and MCDBA 2000). USR="tracking" PASSW="lowsec".
(It is now hosted on UNIX server and needs to be ported over).

Reading Materials:
I have found the Wrox books to be very good and have virtually the full collection of Wrox asp books as well as the associated Microsoft Press books from my VB MCSD.
